What a fascinating article! Also, a welcome reminder that there is scientific evidence backing the positive relationship between birdsong and human mental wellbeing, apart from our own appreciation of how being out and about in nature enhances our mood. For those of us who live in the country, we can go outside for a walk and easily get a dose of ‘Vitamin N’ or ‘ Natures Fix’, to help us weather these difficult times. It’s good to know birdsong helps those who live in cities, too.
